We finally have photos of the BBCAN house! Tonight on ET Canada, host Arisa Cox took us for a tour and I for one am loving the contemporary decor and a few limitations that are sure to cause drama. Here are some details.
- 1 bedroom only! Yes, that’s right. 7 double beds for 14 people. (There is also a HOH room has yet to be revealed.) This is going to be fun once they start hating on each other and MUST sleep in the same room.
- Bathroom similar to BBUSA but not as private – toilet has a bathroom stall style door. No private time in that bathroom without everyone knowing exactly what you are up to! And doing a #2, don’t get me started.
- Secret backyard room and I am 99.9% it leads to an actual OUTDOORS hot tub. (Because I know there is an outdoors hot tub and it isn’t shown…)
- Murals of different parts of Canada painted throughout. The backyard has a mural of my “neck of the woods” (Calgary, Alberta) with the Rocky Mountains, oil rigs, prairies and the giant T-Rex represents the Drumheller area, home of one of the world’s largest dinosaur fossil deposits.
The theme of the house is “contemporary Canadian.” I couldn’t get a smooth shot of the eating area around the oven top, but it is gorgeous and I’m going to enjoy watching these Canadian hamsters chill out and chat there.
I also love the long “formal” dining room table and both living rooms have a relaxed, cozy feel.
The only thing I don’t like about the BBCAN house is there is a very homey looking sofa/chaise right by the backyard door that seems out of place. Like something out of your great aunt’s living room.
The jocks will like the extra workout equipment such as the punching bag, I know on BBUSA they are always asking for more workout items.
Overall, I give this first ever Big Brother Canada house an 8.5/10, what about you?
PS: I can’t wait to see the yet to be revealed HOH room!
